Year 2 Readers have been looking at famous people – Florence Nightingale, Pocahontas, Mary Seacole, Henry 8th and Roald Dahl. We have found out why they are famous and the things that they did during their lives. Over the next couple of weeks we will look at some superheroes and then think about who our hero is. F.A.S.T. has arrived at River View

Families and School Together is an exciting project that we are running at River View. It involves families coming together each Thursday after school to improve family bonds, to strengthen the link between school and families and to increase opportunities for children to learn. One of the most popular features is the meal which is cooked each week by one of the families! If you want to know more about F.A.S.T. ask anybody wearing a blue T shirt or enquire at reception.
